ScopeTerms of Use
These terms govern your use of ScopeMatch, a pan-European ISO 17025 accredited laboratory directory operated by Constellation Design. By accessing or using this website you agree to these terms.
1. Service scope
ScopeMatch provides a searchable directory of ISO 17025 accredited testing and calibration laboratories across Europe. Data is sourced from national accreditation bodies including DAkkS (Germany), UKAS (UK), COFRAC (France), RvA (Netherlands), ACCREDIA (Italy), and ENAC (Spain).
The directory is provided for informational purposes. It does not constitute accreditation verification, regulatory advice, or a procurement recommendation.
2. Data accuracy disclaimer
Accreditation data is sourced periodically from publicly available national accreditation body databases. ScopeMatch makes no warranty — express or implied — as to the accuracy, completeness, or currency of any listing.
Accreditation status can change at any time. Always verify accreditation status directly with the relevant national accreditation body before relying on it for compliance, procurement, or regulatory purposes.
3. User accounts and lab claiming
Laboratory owners may claim their listing to update contact details, add descriptions, and access analytics. To claim a listing, you must demonstrate control of the registered business email domain.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- You must not share your login credentials with third parties.
- You must not claim a listing for a laboratory you do not represent.
- We reserve the right to revoke a claim if we have reason to believe it is fraudulent.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use ScopeMatch to:
- Scrape or bulk-download directory data for redistribution or commercial resale without our written permission.
- Submit false or misleading information via contact forms or lab profile edits.
- Attempt to circumvent rate limits, access controls, or security measures.
- Use the service in any way that violates applicable law, including GDPR and EU consumer protection regulations.
- Use automated bots or scrapers other than through our documented public API.
5. Intellectual property
The ScopeMatch brand, design, software, and taxonomy (the normalised test method classification system) are the intellectual property of Constellation Design.
Underlying accreditation data is sourced from national accreditation bodies and remains subject to their respective terms. We assert no ownership over the raw accreditation records.
You may not reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative works from ScopeMatch content — including the normalised taxonomy — without prior written consent.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ScopeMatch and Constellation Design are not liable for:
- Any loss or damage arising from reliance on directory data for compliance or procurement decisions.
- Interruptions to service availability.
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under Dutch law.
7. Subscription tiers and billing
ScopeMatch offers the following subscription tiers for laboratories:
- Free listing -- Basic directory presence. Lab data is sourced from public accreditation body records. No action is required from the laboratory.
- Professional (paid, billed monthly) -- Enables the enquiry form on the lab profile page, access to the lab analytics dashboard, and the ability to edit the lab profile (logo and description).
- Featured (paid, billed monthly) -- All Professional features, plus promoted placement in search results and category pages.
Subscription fees are billed on a monthly basis. Prices are displayed in your account settings and may be updated with at least 14 days written notice to active subscribers.
8. Refund policy
Subscriptions are billed monthly. No refunds are issued for partial months.
A pro-rata refund is available if requested within 7 calendar days of the first charge for a new subscription. To request a refund, contact us via the contact page with your account email and subscription start date.
After 7 calendar days, the subscription continues until the end of the current billing period and will not be refunded. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of Rechtbank Amsterdam, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you hold under the law of your country of residence.
10. Changes to terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
For material changes affecting paid subscribers, we will provide notice via email at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
