Railway Bogie Structural Requirements and Design
This standard specifies structural design and performance requirements for bogie frames and running gear assemblies used on railway vehicles. It covers load analysis, stress calculations, fatigue assessment, and structural integrity of the frame components that support and guide the wheelsets. Accreditation for bogie structural testing ensures that bogies meet load-carrying and dynamic performance standards essential for safe, reliable railway operation at design speeds and over extended service periods.
