Railway Brake Friction Material Characterisation

This test characterises the friction properties and thermal behavior of brake pads and brake blocks used in railway braking systems, ensuring consistent performance and safety across diverse operating conditions. The test evaluates friction coefficients at various temperatures, pressure levels, and speeds to validate that materials meet performance specifications for both passenger and freight applications.
