Railway Driver Cab Design and Layout

This standard specifies ergonomic and functional requirements for the layout and design of driver cabs in locomotives, railcars, and driving trailers to ensure operator safety, efficiency, and comfort during long operational shifts. It covers positioning of controls, displays, seats, visibility requirements, access, and environmental conditions within the cab environment.
