ScopeRail and Wheel Surface Roughness Measurement
This test measures micro and macro-scale surface roughness on railway wheels and rails to assess their contribution to rolling noise generation. Surface irregularities on the wheel-rail interface are primary sources of railway noise, making this measurement essential for noise control and environmental compliance.
