Tensile Testing of Metallic Materials

Tensile testing measures the mechanical properties of metallic materials under uniaxial tensile stress. The test determines yield strength, ultimate tensile strength, and elongation at break. ISO 6892-1 is the primary European and international standard for this test, used across industries from aerospace to automotive to verify material conformance.
