IEC 61000 / CISPR

Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Testing

EMC testing verifies that electrical and electronic equipment neither generates excessive electromagnetic interference nor is susceptible to it. Emission tests measure radiated and conducted disturbances; immunity tests confirm equipment continues to operate under realistic interference conditions. Compliance is mandatory for CE marking and EU market access.

What it measures

  • Radiated emissions (30 MHz – 1 GHz and above)
  • Conducted emissions (0.15 – 30 MHz)
  • Radiated immunity (IEC 61000-4-3)
  • ESD immunity (IEC 61000-4-2)
  • Burst / surge immunity (IEC 61000-4-4 / 4-5)
