Sound power level determination — general measurement guidelines

ISO 3740 provides overarching principles and guidelines for selecting appropriate methods to determine sound power levels of noise sources across diverse industrial and consumer applications. It establishes the framework for choosing between precision, engineering, and survey methods based on application requirements and environmental conditions.
