Railway Wheel Squeal and Curve Noise Assessment

This test method characterizes squeal and curve noise generated by railway wheels during operation, particularly in tight curves and low-adhesion conditions. The evaluation focuses on wheel-rail interaction noise to identify problematic frequency bands and noise generation mechanisms.
