Railway Composite Brake Blocks - Requirements

This test method establishes performance requirements and acceptance criteria for composite (non-asbestos) brake blocks used in freight wagon braking systems. It evaluates friction characteristics, thermal stability, wear resistance, and compatibility with brake disc or wheel surfaces under representative operational conditions.
