Railway Automatic Train Protection and Warning Systems
This test evaluates the performance and reliability of automatic warning and train protection systems designed to prevent unsafe braking situations and collision hazards in railway operations. It verifies system response times, signal accuracy, and functional safety under normal and degraded operational conditions. Such systems are fundamental to modern railway safety infrastructure, protecting both mainline and urban transit operations. Accreditation ensures laboratories can comprehensively validate these critical safety systems against TSI performance requirements and EU Regulation 402/2013 on railway safety.
